Eight hours of sleep? Yes, please

It's really hard to believe Paisley is almost three weeks old. It's even harder to believe that I got eight hours of sleep last night. No, not eight consecutive hours. But eight broken up hours. I'll take it.

You see when referring to hours of sleep each night. Four is the old six. Five is the old seven. Six is the old eight. And eight is like a million.

I track my sleep hours every night using the Up by Jawbone. And I've seen a slight increase in the hours of sleep I'm getting in the past week. Whereas it was four to five hours, now it's been five to six hours. But eight? Yep. Amazing.

My Up bracelet challenged me to go to bed by 10:10 p.m. last night. And I did it. I got up for a couple of minutes at midnight but my wife took care of that feeding. Paisley woke up again around 4:30 a.m. and I handled that one. I watched a little DVR, catching up on Men at Work and a little bit of SportsCenter (I really wish I liked SportsCenter a little more. It's always on when I'm up). Far too much NFL going on SC to stick with it though.

By writing this, I'm sure I'm looking a three hours tonight. But for one night, eight was truly great.
